In the DVD you will find the classes, the competitions and the shows. A memory to remember all the best moments of the Swing Crash filmed by professional cameramen and edited by Mr. Bryant Gover. With the DVD you can request even the pictures of the event. You can have more informations about it writing an email at our General Office.

The festival

The Swing Crash does not want to be a classic jazz festival, but a worldwide unique event.
The idea came from the desire to develop authentic swing music and culture of the 30's and 40's. The best thing to make it happen was to organize a free huge event outdoor, where everyone could join in to dance or simply to watch and listen the live bands and the dancers. We just got the inspiration from the old movies, clips or newspaper that we have searched and found in some of the most famous Libraries in the world. Basically, we try to reproduce the concerts of the Swing Era.
Hundreds of dancers come to Como from all over Europe joining the Swing Crash Festival.
Famous bands and amazing professional dancers entertain thousands of people for 4 midsummer nights. The Swing Crash Festival take place in one of the most gorgeous square in the world, piazza Cavour, which is located right by the lake.

To summarize:

• dance classes in the late afternoon

• Party and concerts from 9pm till 0.30am outdoor

• dance competitions and shows

• "all nite long dancing" indoor
